At the machine tool exhi­bi­tion in Hanover, an NC-con­trolled coor­di­nate table caus­es a sen­sa­tion. At this time, there are only about 50 machine tools equipped with NC con­trol in the Fed­er­al Republic.

As a tech­nol­o­gy leader, HAMUEL builds the first machine made of poly­mer con­crete for high-speed machin­ing in coop­er­a­tion with the Tech­ni­cal Uni­ver­si­ty in Darmstadt.

HAMUEL receives the order to over­haul and mod­ern­ize all por­tal milling machines of DASA at the Augs­burg plant.

A 100% sub­sidiary is found­ed with the name HAMÜL Maschi­nen­bau Plauen GmbH & Co. KG. This is also inte­grat­ed into the SCHERDEL group of com­pa­nies. A mod­ern pro­duc­tion facil­i­ty for sheet met­al and steel weld­ed con­struc­tions up to 25 t unit weight is set up in Plauen on 4,400 square meters of hall space.

The HSC turn-mill cen­ter HSTM 150 HD is expand­ed with addi­tion­al func­tions. In addi­tion to con­ven­tion­al milling, repairs can option­al­ly be car­ried out by 3D laser cladding weld­ing and these com­po­nents can be auto­mat­i­cal­ly loaded.

The machine series for blisk machin­ing is expand­ed by the HSTM 850 XL and HSTM 1500 XL. In the man­u­fac­tur­ing process of a blisk, blade pro­files are milled lat­er­al­ly from a forged disk.

With the AMS 800 spe­cial machine, HAMUEL + Reichen­bach­er are set­ting new stan­dards in the field of addi­tive man­u­fac­tur­ing using laser melt­ing and laser sin­ter­ing (pow­der bed­ding process).

HAMUEL + Reichen­bach­er present the machine inno­va­tions HybriDX-LT and AMS 400 for the first time and demon­strate the func­tion­al­i­ty of both sys­tems live in Frank­furt at the Form­next trade fair.
