It was clear to all par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpants that the indus\u00adtry will face many new chal\u00adlenges in the future and that only close coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion and the inter\u00adlock\u00ading of key tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies will lead to suc\u00adcess. Thomas Czwie\u00adlong, Man\u00adag\u00ading Direc\u00adtor of Reichen\u00adbach\u00ader Hamuel, put it in a nut\u00adshell in his wel\u00adcom\u00ading speech. \u201cRespon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty for the envi\u00adron\u00adment and peo\u00adple is omnipresent. Med\u00adical pro\u00adfes\u00adsor Clau\u00addia Traidl-Hoff\u00admann from the TUM Munich made an impres\u00adsive state\u00adment in her lec\u00adture \u201cClean air in the machin\u00ading envi\u00adron\u00adment from the point of view of indus\u00adtri\u00adal med\u00adi\u00adcine\u201d in the direc\u00adtion of the industry\u2019s respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty. She point\u00aded out that the avail\u00adable long-term results leave no doubt as to how neg\u00ada\u00adtive\u00adly fine dust par\u00adti\u00adcles affect human health and that the con\u00adse\u00adquences are hard\u00adly fore\u00adsee\u00adable at present.
