12 new trainees in the Reichenbacher Hamuel group of companies

05.09.2016

With around 360 employees from the Hamuel Reichenbacher group of companies, HAMUEL Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG in Meeder and Reichenbacher Hamuel GmbH in Dörfles-Esbach belong to the globally active SCHERDEL Group, which has more than 4,800 employees. Almost 100 years of experience in mechanical engineering and over 30 years of expertise in CNC machining make the company a specialist for CNC machining centres. The product range includes, for example, CNC milling machines for wood, aluminium, composites, plastics, metal and titanium machining as well as materials that are difficult to machine. Many of the company’s own developments, customised products and patents illustrate the high level of innovation that distinguishes the company.

On 1 September 2016, a total of 12 new trainees began their careers at the two companies. Among the young, motivated people this year is once again a dual course of study in industrial mechanics. All apprentices visit the specialist departments of production, machining, sheet metal production, quality assurance, logistics or assembly and administration at the companies in Dörfles-Esbach and in Meeder for a certain period of time — depending on the apprenticed profession. There, they work closely with the respective skilled workers and also take on tasks related to production. In order to promote the trainees’ motivation, a joint “getting-to-know-you day” with the trainers is also planned, during which teamwork is to be trained.
