Design innovations

As a tech­ni­cal prod­uct design­er, you will design com­po­nents and assem­blies in 3D mod­els as well as pro­duc­tion draw­ings for machines and systems.

Contents of your apprenticeship:

  • You cre­ate com­po­nents and assem­blies in a CAD sys­tem (Sol­id Works) and pre­pare tech­ni­cal documentation.
  • Already dur­ing your appren­tice­ship you will work in a team on real projects.
  • Based on cal­cu­la­tions, you select the right stan­dard parts and materials.
  • You will receive basic train­ing with prac­ti­cal com­po­nents (train­ing work­shop) in the areas of met­al, pneu­mat­ics, hydraulics and documentation.

  • Sec­ondary school leav­ing cer­tifi­cate or vocational/technical high school diploma
  • Good spa­tial imag­i­na­tion and log­i­cal thinking
  • Care and accuracy
  • Sense of respon­si­bil­i­ty and abil­i­ty to work in a team
  • Enjoy­ment of math­e­mat­ics and physics

Overview of your apprenticeship:

  • Appren­tice­ship dura­tion: 3.5 years
  • The­o­ret­i­cal instruc­tion at the voca­tion­al school in Lichtenfels
  • You will com­plete the prac­ti­cal part of your appren­tice­ship at Reichen­bach­er Hamuel GmbH in Dörfles-Esbach
