Reichenbacher Hamuel in Hall 8b, Stand G40

The processing of plastics and composites is demanding and a key technology, as the diverse products are indispensable in all major industries, from automotive to aerospace. In Hall 8b at Stand G40, Reichenbacher Hamuel will be presenting innovative machine technology for the economical processing of these materials.

Milling, grinding or polishing: Realistic 5‑axis machining processes will be demonstrated live at Composite Europe on the ECO-LT CNC machining centre using original components and at original speed. In addition to a special gimbal-mounted 5‑axis working unit and other technical highlights, this system will also feature a unique table solution in Düsseldorf. For the first time, the innovative freeze clamping technology, which is used to clamp workpieces made of extremely difficult materials with ice, can be seen live at a trade fair. With the help of a component made of honeycomb structure material, it will be demonstrated how the advantages of this clamping solution clearly surpass conventional techniques.

With the CNC machining centre ECO-LT, a proven series has been adapted in a contemporary way to the requirement profiles of the users. Variety of variants, fast call-off and maximum flexibility are just some of the challenges faced by manufacturers of components made of plastic and composite materials. Designed in a low-vibration portal frame construction, the fully enclosed ECO-LT is equipped with a fixed machining table. This not only allows fully automatic routing, shaping and profile milling; high-quality grinding and polishing processes are also possible. With maximum feed rates and consistently high machining quality, a high level of productivity is thus guaranteed.
